Soul Muzik has announced the signing of singer-songwriter Zaina to the label. Co-founder Darey Art Alade who made this known in Lagos, today, says Zaina, who recently moved back home from Atlanta, ‘is a supremely talented singer, writer and performer who has worked with some of the best brains here and abroad; a fierce entertainer who wants to make music fans happy’.
Zaina says she’s ‘here to stay, to play my part and add my voice to what’s going on in my great country’.
Not entirely a newcomer, Zaina has in the past worked with eLDee, STYL Plus, Sasha, Lynxxx and received nods from the popular Nigerian Entertainment Awards.
And to kick off Zaina’s stay at the label, her debut singles “Lolola” and “Totally Yours” (featuring multi-award-winning Jamaican dancehall star Wanye Wonder) have been released.
Her debut album is due next year.
