Official TILLAMAN ft VECTOR KOMAROLL Video

The Official Tillaman video - KOMAROLL featuring Vector is finnally out. ENJOY

Charlyboy, AKA Areafada has made headlines recently on different newspapers for posing nude in a picture. In this interview, the enigmatic social crusader and the eccentric one has finally disclosed why he posed nude in the picture that went viral on the internet. The Excerpt. Question: One wonders where you have been this period that the media has gone wild about you. I have been hibernating in my room, sipping fruit punch on the rocks, and having a damn good laugh at some peoples timid, conservative and myopic mindset, and I will always thank God that am different and special, and not bugged down by such pedestrian intelligence. Question: We are wondering why you continue to keep quiet over series of stories that are being circulated about you. You know I will always remain cool with a smile when everybody is loosing sleep over my actions or inactions. No matter what, anything I do attracts attention, and even at that, not doing anything at all attracts attention. Everyone is entitled to his or her perception of the brand. what they feel or believe the brand represents doesn’t really matter. We all see an issue from where ever we stand, so if you are an artiste, you will for instance see the so-called nude picture from a creative standpoint. If you are a deeper life kind of person, you will start to moralize and may even paint me the devil. For me, it all comes with the territory; I’m an entertainer and an artiste, so if people start to swallow panadol on my behalf, should that be my concern? I know damn too well who and what I am and that is why am severely myself, because I believe in me, as a result, I don’t give a damn what you think that I am, because I already know who I am, and am confident in that knowledge. So why should I have anxiety over my playfulness and youthfulness. I no send anybody massageoooo. Question: You filed a suit against National Mirror; at what point is the case now? My case is still in court with the National Mirror, I know some dumb asses would feel like, Oh, he just wanted to make noise. He is not serious about the matter, but I guess time will tell who the real fools are. I know some people in this country feel like because they have money, they can buy anything even justice they don’t even deserve. Lagos high court went on vacation over the past months so as soon as they come back in the next few weeks, the matter will be called up. And let me warn, if ‘magomago’ gets into my matter, I will show Nigerians another side that they have never seen before. Don’t forget that I on my own have faced corporate bodies in this country and have won, so Jimo Ibrahim and National Mirror are small fries in my book. I have taken on bigger platforms. Una go hearam soon, stay tuned. Question: Even while battling with National Mirror on the controversial issue of gay and lluminati, your nude picture hit the internet again. How did this happen? So? Don’t I look good for my age? How does one get to look that good if you don’t take care of yourself? Did you see crawcraw on my body? If you see nudity, what I see is discipline. I challenge you to find in this Nigeria, 61 year old men who look like me and are in the best mental, physical and spiritual shape. You think it is moimoi? Do you know how hard I work to keep that body like that? How else, if it is not discipline? I don’t drink, I no longer smoke cigarettes, I don’t womanize, I workout every day and I watch what I eat. I do so many things that I know a lot of people don’t have the will power to do. On my blackberry profile, I post different pictures on it, sometimes it’s all about my beautiful children, sometimes it’s about my parents, most of the time it is my beautiful wife, sometimes it’s about the people I inspire, the youths. Of cause, if I want to be mischievous, I post me sleeping in my casket, or showing off my beautiful body. So why are they not spreading the pictures of my fine wife and children? Why are they not spreading the pictures of my struggles or all the motivational things that I do, can’t you see where their minds are? In the gutter of cause… Question: What were you trying to achieve by displaying such picture on your Blackberry profile? I'm in the comfort of my house doing my thing, and you are asking me what I’m trying to achieve. People in my area see me every morning jogging as if I am training for Olympics, and I should not celebrate with myself the result of all the hard work I have been doing over the years? What is your damn business whatever picture I put up on my own phone? If you are on my contact and you see that kind of picture, why don’t you ignore it? But no, they will be the first to put it on their own profile and be circulating it all over the world; I really don’t mind shaooooo, because I know I look too good for my age. God worked overtime on my body and made me ever special. I thank him every day for that, so dey there dey ask me what am trying to achieve. All of una with una boring and frustrated life, no be una subject of discussion for the past one month? You no see how my matter they sweet for them mouth, abegi…abegi. And who said they were nude pictures anyway? Did you see my blocos there? At best you can say that the pictures were suggestive; everyone knows am a big tease. Question: Obviously, this is not the first time you are posing suggestive in a picture. Can you tell us why you keep doing this? Why not? I’m happy with my body and I'm telling you that I work very hard to keep it in shape. I have it, so I'm flaunting it; do you mind? Question: We understand that most of your fans are mainly young people. Don’t you think that appearing like that in a picture could easily be misinterpreted by them? My life story has inspired many young people, they understand my playfulness and my youthfulness, because there has been so many positives things I have done and still doing in the past 35yrs of the brand. They remember my contribution to the entertainment scene in Nigeria, how I brought respect and big money into the scene. Listen, no need to blow my trumpet, you know my contributions and how I have championed many other peoples causes. So they know and they understand and I’m happy about that. If you can’t get it, na your business be that. Question: How positive or negative do these several rumors affect your business? My own is that I’m making Bank, and business is good. Do not forget that I am a communicator. Most of the things you consider negatives may be positives to me, and even when you force the negatives too much on my face, I will convert them to positives. I am on top of my game sha. Question: How do your children feel, seeing their father appearing waggish? They are so tickled with my swag. They like the Charlyboy character but they love Mr Charles Oputa; that is who they know. Question: What would you consider the worst story ever about you? The one they said that I ‘said” when I did not say. That is why we are in court. Enough of this jungle journalism. It is getting so obnoxious.

Tupac Foundation Honours Top Comedian, Julius Agwu

One of the most versatile entertainers in Africa, Julius D’Genius’ Agwu has yet bag another international recognition few weeks after winning the African Achievers Awards in London. This honour is coming from Tupac Foundation in Atlanta where the leading comedian happens to be one of the international stars that have their names in-scriped on the bricks at the foundation. Few days back, Julius was presented with an autobiography of Tupac Shakur titled ‘Tupac Shakur Legacy’. Autographed by Tupac’s mum, Afeni Shakur, this might not be unconnected with Julius Agwu’s support to the foundation during one of his visits to America and his popularity in Africa. Afeni, who also wrote the forward of the book written by Jamal Joseph, wrote; “Julius Agwu, peace, love, respect, se alaafia ni? We pray we will able to come to home, Nigeria in the future. Help make our home land safe. We are ever hopeful for African peace and prosperity”. The book, Tupac Shakur Legacy features removable reproductions of handwritten, lyrics, notebook pages and other personal memorabilia plus Tupac Shakur Speaks, a 60minutes CD featuring rare interviews with Tupac. Speaking on this recognition, Julius said he feels very much excited and grateful to God about it. “I feel very excited and elated for this recognition. And most importantly, it is an inspiration for most of us who are in the business of entertainment because even for the fact the guy’s age was cut short at a very early stage, we know he has left a very indelible mark on the sand of time. I went to Tupac Foundation in Atlanta and I saw the projects he was working on before he died and what his mum too is doing at the foundation. I was so inspired and it got to say that for those of us who are here doing entertainment business, if we do not give back to the society, we have not really started. So everything we do, we should see it as a way of giving back to the society”. He said further that “the foundation inspired me more that I have not even started yet. The expanse of land where the foundation is located including how they have impacted on the society says a lot that as role models, we really need to work harder because you have not achieved if you have not impacted on the people. No matter who you are and how much you think you have, you are not an achiever if you have not impacted on the people. I actually bought a brick at the foundation and my name was inscribed on it. If you go to Tupac Foundation in Atlanta, you will see my name on one of the bricks there with other great super stars. From what have been told, this is the first copy in Africa which was actually autographed by Tupac’s mother and I’m very privileged and honoured to be part of the chosen few. I’m planning a trip to the foundation this year to visit Tupac’s mum after Crack Ya Ribs in America”. The comedian who has been hosting the Crack Ya Ribs Comedy Show annually in London over a decade has decided to take the show to other cities. And for the first time, the show will hold in New York, Houston, Dallas and Glasgow. The London show will hold on 26 August, 2012 at the Light House Hall, 262-274 Camberwell Road, SE5 ODL, which happens to be the same venue where Laff for Christ's sake show held in April 2012. Artistes and comedians billed to perform at the London show include D’Prince, Seyi Law, Dj Abass, FunnyBone, Senator, MC Shakara and Funny Face from Ghana. Top Ghanaian acts like Guru and Khaki will also be performing at the event. In a similar vein, the New York and Glasgow shows will hold on 1 September, 2012 at the Simphony Space Theater, 2537 Broadway, NY 10025 and 24 August, 2012 at O2 ABC 2 Glasgow respectively. Houston and Dallas are billed for September 7 & 8 respectively.

2 Chainz’s ‘Based on a True Story’ Debuts at No. 1

This is no lie — 2 Chainz has scored his first No. 1 album as a solo artist with his debut LP ‘Based on a T.R.U. Story.’ The collection sold 147,000 units in its first week of release, according to Billboard. 2 Chainz’s chart achievement makes him the first rap act in 2012 to have its debut album start off at the top. The last rapper to do so was Mac Miller with his independent release ‘Blue Slide Park,’ which premiered at No. 1 in November 2011. The Atlanta rapper dethroned last week’s chart king, the ‘Now 43′ compilation, to the No. 2 position with 75,000 pushed. Meanwhile, Rick Ross‘ ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ dips from No. 2 to No. 3 with 43,000 sold. Rap duo Insane Clown Posse debuts at No. 4 with its latest album ‘Mighty Death Pop’ with 41,000 units moved, and rounding out the Top 5 is Maroon 5‘s ‘Overexposed’ with 36,000 copies pushed. Meanwhile, 2 Chainz is ready to embark on his ‘Based on a T.R.U. Story’ tour, which starts on Aug. 30 in Norfolk, Va. During his interview with RapFix Live, 2 Chainz wouldn’t reveal who would join him on the trek, because, he says, it’s a surprise. “I can tell you the person is in G.O.O.D. Music,” he teases. Could it be Big Sean or Pusha T? “I didn’t say no names,” said 2 Chainz. “One thing people don’t understand is that G.O.O.D. Music has a roster; it’s just not like three or four people. But I am going on a tour, and dammit, it’s my tour, so whoever opens up, it’ll be a blessing… for both of us.”

Police Beats up Music Act, Baba Fryo, Gets Admitted in the Hospital

Popular musician, Friday Igwe aka Baba Fryo, has threatened to sue the Nigeria Police Force for serious injuries sustained from an assault by five policemen in Lagos. Fryo, who spoke from his hospital bed on a radio station in Lagos, Wazobia FM on Wednesday morning, said he was beaten by the five policemen at Iyana Ishasi, a suburb of Lagos some days ago when he tried to appeal to them to stop manhandling two young ladies. The musician said the incident happened on Tuesday after the two girls had rebuffed entreaties by two policemen to follow them to an unknown destination. He said the two policemen went to get five colleagues of theirs and pounced on these girls, hitting them viciously with guns, batons and boots. When he heard the commotion from his room in his friend’s hotel, he said he moved to the scene to find out what was amiss. He stated that when he begged the seven policemen to stop beating the girls, one of them turned to him and gave him some hot slaps. Within seconds, four others joined in beating him, leaving him with fractures. He said when he reported the matter to the DPO of a nearby police station, he sympathised with him. But Fryo said he was taken aback when no mention was made of who would bear the cost of his treatment. He vowed that he would sue the police if nothing was done about the matter, noting that a scan had confirmed that he sustained a fracture in one of his legs. Baba Fryo is widely known for his hit track – Dem Go Dey Pose. When our correspondent reached the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Baride, for comments, she was said to be in a meeting. She did not also respond to an SMS sent to her mobile phone

Keke Palmer- You Got Me feat. Kevin McCall (Official Video)

Woman beats 16 year old foster son to death for stealing N50

The woman was stripped naked and made to carry the corpse of the dead boy around her area. The sad incident happened on Sunday on Amosu Street, Ijegun, in Lagos. The woman known locally as Iya Anu beat her 16 year old foster son, Seubow, to death for allegedly stealing N50. Seybow was Iya Anu's husband's nephew. According to neighbours, trouble started after Seubow lost the N1,000 given to him by Iya Anu to run an errand for her some days back. Angered by the loss which she claimed was theft, the woman refused to feed Seubow for over four days. When the teenager couldn't take the hunger anymore, he sneaked out to buy gala one night. When Iya Anu found out, she accused him of stealing her N50 and beat him up, using a rod. She battered him for days until he gave the ghost on Sunday afternoon. After his death, neighbours rounded the woman up and made her carry the boy's corpse to the police station. If only the neighbours had intervened earlier. This wasn't the first she would batter him. The photo on the right was taken in June at a police station where Iya Anu was taken to after seriously battering the boy. No one came to his rescue and he ended up dying in her hands. Sad!
