After getting reports and a press release stating that May D & Square records were no longer together, investigations were made and the genesis of the break-up was ascertained by CEO of Square Records, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye.
According to him, Square Records only had a verbal agreement with May D, but after the success of ‘ile ijo’ video, they decided to sign him officially and May D made some demands they could not meet. Due to this, their relationship was dissolved
Jude Okoye says May D has been rolling with Davido and might get signed on HKN music and he wishes him goodluck.”Its sad we must confess, but we have decided to let go of him. Recently, May D has been moving with Davido and might end up been Signed to HKN Music…. We wish him goodluck anyway”, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye said.
